Does it support X asset?
This is quite a complicated question. Generally i don’t own the asset mentioned so it’s hard to say if it fully works or not. As a general rule:
- If the asset are Meshes, 3D models or doesn’t require other Third-Party assets, yes! If it includes materials…
- If the asset relies on custom materials/shaders, it’s usually possible to modify them so that they are compatible. Refer to how to make your own shader to apply the necessary tweaks!
- If the asset requires Unity Terrain you can probably get it working by using the Unity Template
- If its your asset i would be happy to check out each other assets and build the appropriate changes that would improve both of those assets and make them compatible. DM if that’s the case!
Compatibility List
The assets listed below have been personally checked. An asset not being here doesn’t mean that it’s not compatible with Infinite Lands. Furthermore, this list might be incomplete. If you have doubts or would like to make your asset compatible, join our Discord server and just ask for it!
- The Visual Engine (>= 20.6.0): The visual engine includes support for Instanced Indirect Rendering (Vegetation Assets)
- A* Pathfinding Package: It has been reported that users can use it with Infinite Lands
